"The Veil"
Project: Emulate a Famous Photographer (2025)
A project where I was challenged to emulate a famous photographer; I chose to emulate Man Ray’s "The Veil." I was in charge of all aspects of the production, including lighting, camera work, and photo editing. To get the mesh effect, I bought a large mesh screen from a fabric store and layered it in front of the subject, my girlfriend. The project taught me how to make stylistic work in a studio setting.
Project: Three-Point Lighting Project (2025)
These portraits were taken during my time in Digital Photography, where we were taught the basics of setting up three-point lighting. I handled most aspects of the production, including lighting and camera angles, and photo editing, but the poses used little direction and were mostly on the spot by the subjects. This project enhanced my ability to efficiently operate in the studio and my post-production skills.
Project: Portraits (2025)
This project was assigned in my Digital Photography class to help us get accustomed to the studio and feel more comfortable shooting portraits. I handled most aspects of production, like lighting, shooting, and photo editing.
